Ben Smith has over 25 years of AV experience and oversees Omni's AV department. Extensive project management and field service experience give Ben a well-rounded, problem-solving toolkit.  Large-scale commercial builds, theatre, film and home automation, or innovative public art installations are all in a day’s work. Learning and growing with each of his projects, Ben is committed to offering exceptional system design services and creative technology solutions to clients big and small.

With over 20 years of sales experience, Cal Mazzara is a key component in generating new sales opportunities for Omni. Cal works with customers big and small from the health care industry, to schools to corporate businesses.

JODY BLACK
Project Manager

Jody is a Project Manager for Omni. He has 26 years of experience in the voice and data industry. Prior to joining the Omni Team, Jody owned his own low voltage/ IT Installation company, where he was involved in all aspects of his company’s projects from estimating/sales to project management to installation.  

REED ENGELKE
Service/ Project Manager

Reed Engelke is the Service Project Manager at Omni. Reed served in the United States Army as a Land Combat Missile Electronic Systems Repairer, including deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He graduated in 2010 from the University of Alabama-Huntsville with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Reed has 15 years of experience in construction project management and service positions. Reed oversees Omni's service department and assists with managing Omni's field staff.

Project Manager

Michael Hill is a Project Manager at Omni. 

SHANE BUOL
Technical Services Manager

Shane Buol is the Technical Services Manager at Omni. Shane has an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. He is NICET Level 2 certified and also holds many factory certifications. Shane began his career in the life safety industry in January of 2006 as a technician. He joined Omni in 2014 as a Project Engineer before being promoted to Technical Services Manager. Shane is an invaluable resource to office staff and customers alike.

SEAN BINDLEY
Project Manager

Sean Bindley is a Project Manager at Omni. Sean began his career in the fire and security industry in 2001 as a fire alarm inspector and has been in the industry ever since.  He has held positions as fire alarm inspector, inspection supervisor, operations manager and sales. Sean now manages many of Omni's largest projects.
